Taking pictures is one of my greatest pleasures since years. It was in the mid 1970s when i held my first own camara in my little kiddy hands - it was a Pouva Start.

In the late 1990s i took lots of pictures with a russian Lomo camera and since the digital age started, i pictured with several digital ones and experimented with flat-bed scanners. Today i take my pictures with a DSLR, a pinhole camera, a polaroid camera and an analogue SLR.

Digital image editing has become an important part of creating my motives more and more in recent years. It followed that there developed ideas of creating surreal city- and landscapes through digital disassociation. My personal affinity to the maritime and its visual blue tones has led to a dominance of the color blue in my newer works. I´d like to describe it as my distinctive mark for now.

Since i finished my health sciences study i´m planning new health related photographic projects. More about that in a few months.
